As we continue to navigate these uncertain times, the safety and well‑being of our members remains our main concern. In compliance with the recommended guidelines for gatherings during this coronavirus outbreak, we will NOT gather together for worship for the next two weeks, March 22 and March 29. As we have been encouraged to avoid all public gatherings and keep us sheltered at home as much as possible, we will also cancel all gatherings, like weekly Bible study, Lenten service, choir rehearsal, and committee meetings during this time.
Pastor continues to post the daily devotions on Facebook and please consider tuning in Sunday for a short service on Facebook or our church webpage. For those who wish some quiet time in prayer and reflection, the sanctuary will be available from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. You are more than welcome to stop in if you see Pastor's car at the church. Be assured that Pastor Kaufman is available for pastoral care concerns. The best way to reach her is by cell phone.
And please remember that your offerings continue to be vital to our ministry. You can drop your offering off at the church or send it through the mail. But most importantly, please remember that some of our community are not on Facebook or don’t even have a computer. Please feel free to share this information with them. Take time to check in with those who are vulnerable in their quarantine and let the church office know if there are ways we can offer assistance.
We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you apprised as to the status of future events. Now more than ever have faith that we will persevere and overcome these unprecedented times.
May God be with you.
